Multi-functional Bioreactors
As a single cell organism, microalgae fix CO2 more efficiently than other plants. Easy manipulation and the high ability of dissolving and utilizing the organic and inorganic substance in waste water make it possible to build a multifunctional bioreactor which can use CO2 as carbon resources to produce algal fuel and simultaneously to clean N, P and organic wastes from water.

Background
In summer,2008, when we were working on our multifunctional bioreactor, many high school students were taking part in university entrance examination and musical competition. High pressure and hot weather made their face full of pimples. It was very annoying especially for those girls who went to dress beautifully to participate piano competition. The parents asked us why not to try the microalgae to cleanse the oil and the pimples from human face since it works so well in waste water treatment. It was a risky speculation!
What is acne?
Human skin consists of many hair follicles. These pores are connected to oil glands. When people reach at the time of puberty or the period, the overproduction of sebum(oil) leads to block skin pores. And acne occurs.
How does Chlorella Gel Cleanser work?

At first, students at puberty were our main users. We used edible green algae and food materials to make Chlorella Gel Cleanser . No chemicals and antiseptics were added in it. It is healthful for skin but it need to be stored in lower temperature. Keeping it in room temperature only lasts 14 days. In 2010 when lots of orders came from U.S.A. Canada and Australia, it became a big trouble for international transportation. Sometimes the customs check costs ten days. The green cleanser become yellow when international customers get it. After two-year's continuous studies and improvement, Chlorella Gel Cleanser can be kept in room temperature for 2 months now. Since Chlorella Nourishment contains lots of nutrients, it can only be kept in room temperature for 30 days. But it can meet the need of international transportation. Good news for our distributors and users.
Orchid hybrid and genetic breeding
Located in the subtropical island, Taiwan is desirable for Orchid planting and become the largest orchid exporter in recent years. The varieties are so great, and every year in spring more than half of a million people around world take part in Taiwan International Orchid Show. Lijun Plant Resource Institute dedicate himself to orchid hybrid and genetic breeding. There are more sixteen varieties with white, red, pink, yellow, green flowers available in present time. We provide the services of species identification, molecular marker-assisted selection, tissue, callus culture and clone propagation, seedling culture, flower induction, and international trade.
Biofuel Production
Jatropha curcas has been documented as a traditional medicinal plant in Africa, India, and southern Asia for thousand years. And the seeds, leaves, and oil are used as wound disinfectant and as a treatment for rheumatism, skin diseases, and other ailments. Jatropha seeds contain more than 30% oil which was used traditionally as cooking、 lighting or generating electric power. The biodiesel made from Jatropha oil is suitable for all present diesel engines and maintain same burning characteristics as traditional diesel with lower air pollution. Without occupying the arable land and with one third of production cost, Jatropha curcas can produce more than 1590kg oil per hectare，five times higher than soybean，and is recommended as a promising energy plant by UN in the world.
